So one last birthday surprise was our littlest niece, Abby, coming to stay with us for the weekend with her dad, Matt! What a fun, crazy, and exhausting weekend it was. Matt came to speak at a conference in Seattle and Jen had a million concerts to direct the very same weekend...so...what to do with Abby? It wasn't even a question. Matt brought her on the plane to Seattle at 5am Friday morning and we got to play all weekend. She is cute as a button and is as tiny as one too. She stole the attention everywhere we could show her off. She came with us to visit Uncle Jerry, Christie, and Doug in Tacoma, to Maple Valley to a friends boutique, a baptism, a few other random places and then at the end of Saturday to the Outback. I think we had worn her out. By the time we got to the Outback with mom, dad, and the Dobson's, she was done! Everybody took their turn walking with her, soothing her and feeding her a french fry, bread, broccoli, potato and anything else she would eat. It was a fun night with family and friends! It was great to see Matt and Abby and best of all...it was a total surprise to Brynley. She was thrilled beyond explanation!
