One 'Wicked' Birthday Bash!

What a fantastic weekend. Debby, Kristin, Rhiannon, Brynley and myself all went to Portland for a little birthday weekend. Our girlfriends from Maple Valley were also there and we planned a fun birthday sleepover at the Hilton for all 8 girls. It was so fun to get the girls dressed up for their first big show...Wicked! We went to dinner and then downtown Portland for the Broadway performance. My friend Tracie was able to get us all seats on the floor in the center on row 9. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Following the show, the girls came back to the hotel and had a slumber party in my hotel room with balloons, pillow fights, matching slippers, tons of junk food, Becky's fabulous cupcakes, and girl fun! We were up until about 3 am and were down at the pool by 7am. After a few hours of swimming and breakfast, it was time to check out and head for home. It may have been a quick trip, but it was worth it. I hope Brynley and Rhiannon will remember this special weekend. The next big weekend in their future is their baptism...set the date for May 2nd!
